Mr. Morawski Meeting

Today is a very special day for me and my Science Literacy team. Today we met with the principal Mr Morawski. We discussed our Science Fair Fundraiser for Mrs Duffet at WHRC Elementary School in Pontiac, Michigan. She's in desperate need of some school supplies and we are raising money to buy some supplies for her. We also discussed what we needed to do to get the fair set up. We need to see a few people to get this ready for sometime in the school year. This project will continue to next year, even though I won't be able to work on it with my group.

LEGO Dimensions Game Review

I'm currently playing a game called LEGO Dimensions. It's a toys to life game like Skylanders and Disney Infinity, but it's LEGO so you build the portal and the characters and the vehicles and the gadgets. The cool thing about gadgets and vehicles is the fact that the instructions to build them are on the screen. There are many different worlds to play in such as Back to the Future, The Wizard of Oz, Doctor Who, and other things.

Macbeth Auditions

Yesterday, I couldn't go to the Aladdin Jr. rehearsal. This was because of the fact that I was one of a selected few to audition for a role in the opera Macbeth by Gussepi Verdi. I auditioned for the role of an Apparizione, or Apparition in English (Apparizione is Italian). It's just like the Shakespeare play, "Macbeth" but it's all singing. I auditioned with my friend Matteo. It was really fun. They'll send an email if we got the part on Friday.

Book Report: Treasure Hunters

The treasure hunters series by James Patterson is one of the best books I've ever read. Then Patterson followed to book up with the sequel: Treasure Hunters: Danger Down the Nile, which was even better. The series is about 4 Kidds (Bick Kidd, Storm Kidd, Tommy Kidd, and Beck Kidd) that live on their boat, The Lost. They try to find their lost parents which no one believes except Bick, the optimistic one. The personalities of the Kidds are:
Bick: Optimistic, Writer ("Writes the books")
Beck: Artist
Tommy: Girl Magnet (in the third book, there was a map that said where tommy met his 12,358th girlfriend)
Storm: Smart, has photographic memory. Each Kidd has a real name. Bick=Bickford, Beck=Rebecca, Tommy=Thomas, and Storm=Stephanie (but no one calls her that except for the brave ones).

Wonderful Winter Break Part 5: Happy New Year!

It was December 31st. New Year's Eve. I knew that we would be staying up till midnight. I was watching the Goodyear Cotton Bowl, but as the Spartans were getting utterly crushed by the Alabama Crimson Tide I switched to watching Brian Arnold's historic run on season 5 of American Ninja Warrior, then the first competitors of Season 6. The 31st was the first day of the 4 day Ninjathon. They started with season 5 (I think) and went to season 7, which was the latest season. This ANW marathon was for the new spin-off, Team Ninja Warrior, premering Tuesday, January 19th at 8:00 on Esquire, if you're interested.

That's all of Wonderful Winter Break. There was one more exciting thing that happened over break and that was my room got a new look to it, but that's another story.

Personal Narrative Story: The Force Won't go Back to Sleep

"Get your coats and shoes on, guys! We're going to see Star Wars!" My mom yelled from upstairs. It was 4 days before Christmas, December 21st. We had just finished dinner. Apparently, we were going to see the new Star Wars movie: Star Wars: The Force Awakens. When we got to the movie theater, my sister and I were SO excited to see the movie. In one part I thought that Rey fell into a trap (metaphorically) but she was fine. This was the 2nd time that I saw a movie at 7:00. The first time was another company bought by Disney's movie, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy with my dad.

Wonderful Winter Break Part 4: Christmas!

Christmas was always one of the best holidays, next to my birthday. I got some really cool things like LEGO Dimensions and the Ultron, Hulkbuster, Mulan, Luke Skywalker, and Leia Organa Disney Infinity figures. We still have our Christmas tree up; even though a long time has passed. Christmas was really fun at our house; how was Christmas at yours? In the comments below, please write your reply.

Stay tuned for Part 5: Happy New Year!/American Ninja Warrior Ninjathon
